Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Garum Mallam, Kano State. You will work on the press shop floor. You will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
