Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Cherokee County, Alabama. The role involves: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
