Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Centre County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a road-building project. Day to day you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Six days a week, one day off. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
