Immediate opening: production machine operator (Colorado)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production machine operator in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Full-time with occasional weekends.
