The role involves feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
