Join our team: we are hiring a road roller operator in Franklin County, Virginia. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Check for underground cables and services before digging Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Six days a week, one day off.
