Furnace operator wanted in Nicholas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. You will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time with occasional weekends. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
