Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
