Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Suffolk, England. The role involves fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. You should have: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Part-time with flexible hours.
