Cold room technician — Richmond County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Richmond County, New York. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; clean condenser and evaporator coils. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
