Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Performance bonus on top of base pay.
