Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Bedford, England. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
