Steel fixer wanted in Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Union County, Oregon. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
