Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Isin, Kwara State. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection ₦6,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
