Sewing machine operator wanted in Grundy County

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Grundy County, Tennessee. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
