Immediate opening: argon welding operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Elmore County, Alabama. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
