Punch press operator wanted in Tulare County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Tulare County, California. You will work at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift.
