Now hiring: formwork carpenter (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
