Join our team: we are hiring a tile setter in Bureau County, Illinois. The job is on a residential construction site. The role involves: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
