Great opportunity: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Stanton County, Nebraska. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Your main tasks: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns 5+ years on the tools preferred.
