Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Lander County, Nevada. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Rotating shifts.
