Gas installation technician • Owsley County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Owsley County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy gas installation company. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
