Fabrication workshop technician • San Augustine County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in San Augustine County, Texas. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
