On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents.
