Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Wilkin County, Minnesota. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
