Now hiring: canteen cook (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in North Lincolnshire, England. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day to day you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; prepare the mise en place before each service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
