We are recruiting: panel welder (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Crawford County, Michigan. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
