Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain On the job you will handle: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
