Ironing operator — Smith County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Smith County, Texas. The job is in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
