Toolroom milling operator — Dearborn County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Dearborn County, Indiana. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Meals and transport allowance provided.
