The role involves: • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
