Vacancy available: ironing operator (Maryland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
