Single needle operator — Roseau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Roseau County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
