Furnace operator wanted in Owsley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Owsley County, Kentucky. The job is on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
