On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
