Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Beaver County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
