Port container crane operator — Laurens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Laurens County, Georgia. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone.
