Abattoir worker — Benton County

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Benton County, Mississippi. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off.
