Mobile crane operator — Angus

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Angus, Scotland. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Overtime paid at a premium rate.
