Escalator technician — Tripp County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Tripp County, South Dakota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
