Bar bender and fixer — Ulster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ulster County, New York. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
