Bodyshop painter — Thomas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Thomas County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
