Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Meals and transport allowance provided.
