Reinforcement fitter — Spotsylvania County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
