Turning centre operator wanted in Iowa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Iowa County, Iowa. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts.
