Lathe operator • McIntosh County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in McIntosh County, Georgia. The job is in a packaging factory. You will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
