Sample machinist wanted in Ontonagon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Ontonagon County, Michigan. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Full-time with occasional weekends.
