What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops.
