Vertical milling machine operator • Rabun County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Rabun County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
