Rebar worker — Jasper County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Jasper County, Illinois. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
